i’m sitting here staring out the window. there’s a frito lay truck…now an “eggpress lane” mcd’s one…a van with a pig picture on the window…yikes, there’s a huge flatbed tow truck carrying two crunched up SUVs…
*sigh* yep, im spaced out. i’ve pretty much been like this the last week. i wanna chatchatchat on my blog but i just cant seem to coagulate a cohesive post into something interesting to read.
ever since my detox has kicked in, i feel like a robot. one that’s malfunctioned. LOL!!! i just sleep, eat, sit at the puter (not being productive), stare out the window, hurt and feel dizzy off and on. bleh!!
my house is a mess, my plants need watered, my hair needs washed (LOL), my poor dog is bored out of her puppy mind. some days i wonder how my sweet hubby puts up with all this junk i’m goin thru. (i’m so thankful, tho!)
i have, however, managed to do some laundry at least! woohoo? hehe.
yep, im whining. i dont do it here much—i mean, who wants to read whinewhinewhining? but, hey, im human and i’m not ALWAYS sillygolucky. ;)
i suppose there’s really not much more to say right now. i just wanted to check in with all you folks who stop by to see me :) i’m here, not gone forever, just floating around…LOL…we all have times where life just calls for more staring out the window than blogging ;)
i’m sure you know what i mean!
*lonnnggg pause*
*battle in brain*
*guilt*
GAHHH! okay, i cant do it! i just cant do it! i cant sign off on a blog post where the happiest thing i say is that i did a load of laundry! ROTFL!! ;)
so here, here’s a picture of my cat, snax. i have 4 cats, if you didnt know. i love them ALL very much! but, shhhhhh…she’s my fave. she’s just special. she’s gotta silly attitude and she’s really smart. she likes to run from you and act like she doesn’t love your attention. but then, at other times she swishes her tail around and wiggles her kittybutt back and forth and loves on you…and snuggles and purrs soooo loud…and her fur is satiny soft…!
snax, one of my kitties :) she always makes me feel better!
and by this pix, she seems to have the right idea, hey? just chillin! takin life one day atta time…and sleepin thru it if necessary ;) LOL.
(yep, that’s a box on my desk…she sleeps there a lot and she’s right at my disposal for petting all day long. haha! oh, and we call her “snax-in-the-box” all the time…cause she’s ALWAYS in boxes! way more than the other cats. hehehe. click on her pix for more!)
baby crazy snax ;) i bet she’s butt-wiggling in there, preparing to SPROING!ohhhh and here’s another one i just found…just a kitten! hehe! can you tell she was getting ready to SPROING out of that box? LOL! look at the wild eyes. HA!
i love pets—they make me smile!! i hope you did, too! =D
okay, i am now concluding my cheesey-happy portion of the post! ;)
oh wait, since i DID use my cat cadet’s name in my post title, i’ll at least give him some credit. click HERE! (do it, you’ll crack up!)
talk to you soon :)

Hang in there! I haven't had much to say on my blog lately either. Thus the sparse posting.
ReplyDelete:)
Hang in there it's just the post Christmas middle winter blues...
ReplyDeletethanks robert and starshine! i'm definitely workin on hangin in there. just getting a grip and having a few good days of eating healthy helps TONS. and robert, you're right...post-christmas-middle-winter-blues...man are you so right!
ReplyDeleteI dunno Josey. Do what I did and tear into a huge spicy red pepper and meaty pizza. Made me feel better...for a moment. Besides I justify it by the fact it is cold here and cold burns calories. I'm safe. Cheer up..you'll be fine. :-) Come and visit for a while. Good tunes, some nice pics, not too depressing stuff os of late. Hey I'll even supply the water. You can drink that stuff can't you?
ReplyDelete~JD
I'm so glad I'm not the biggest nutter around! ;-)
ReplyDeleteLove your posts. Hope things perk up a bit soon.
oh man jd, that pizza sounds GOOD. i was just telling hubby the other day how we ate SO MUCH PIZZA in december, i got so sick of it! and now that i shouldnt really have it (wheat crust!), i want it. hahah. however, i'm sure if i snarfed down loads of pizza, id definitely only feel good for about the 15 minutes it would take me to eat it! so, that one's out. hehe.
ReplyDeletethankfully yes, i can drink water ;) LOL.
hey robert...yep, we can be sad sacks together, hey? LOL. naww im just kidding! no sense in wallowing, right? i mean a little here and there is fine, but i dont wanna get stuck in the mud pit. hehe. things are lookin up...one day atta time...God's in control!! there's a purpose for everything :D
ReplyDeleteHaha, you're too funny Josey. Sure missed you. Bust busy doing 'stuff', lol. That is one beautiful cat!
ReplyDeletehiya rolando :D thanks for the compliment on snax...she is definitely a keeper! she's a total nut, like me ;) hehe.
ReplyDeleteso is hushspace gone? i noticed a few days ago the page was down and thought maybe it was just blogger or your host. then i noticed your post on r playground...so are you cuttin back? :D i hope all is well for you!!
Can I use that image of space kitty? I'll give it back when I'm done with it...
ReplyDeletethe one of cadet on his page or one of snax? :) sure, if i get to see what you're doing with it first and most importantly, i get 90% of any money you make off it. ROTFL!!! ;) cant wait to see what you're gonna do :D
ReplyDeleteOh no you and your cat are nuts. Your poor hubby, lol.
ReplyDeleteActually, I switched from blogspot to wordpress. I was just trying blogspot out and it definitely doesn't offer the flexibility that wordpress has.
Check out my new site here - http://www.myhushspace.com/
Meow, lol
I think it's just this time of year...I can't wait for spring. Love the cats!!!!
ReplyDeletei'm sorry you're so out of it. i've done those detox's before and you're right...they do totally suck. it's hard to remember that you're doing them to feel better when while you're in them, you feel so rotten! my mom had me on one about 2 years ago that was the most awful experience of my life. it was to detox my liver and i came to found out that my liver was already great so it didn't even do me any good, after all the time, expense and misery.
ReplyDeletei don't know what kind of detox you're on but if you're able to eat real food (as opposed to juices and such), perhaps you can try the roasted red pepper dip on my dieting blog. that stuff can seriously turn any bad mood around. put it on some rice cakes or in a taco or anything. you will die! it is that good!
heya drowsey! yes, DEFINITELY the time of year contributes to feelings of spacin out! hehe! i suppose it might have been wiser to detox during spring or sometime that's not quite so depressing. lol. oh well! i'm workin thru it.
ReplyDeleteglad you love the cats--they are so entertaining! =D
Hey Josey.... What"s UP? Sounds like you're getting some good advice from the crew. I've never done a detox per se, but I have been on the wagon a few times. You know, laying off the spirits and cheesburgers and fries! Boy did that put me in a foul mood... (ha, ha) But Comfort food seems to be the ticket. I know it works for me too in times like these. So as soon as you can I'm sure you'll be all over the "Something Special" dish. Whatever it might be. You know I'm not very funny otherwise I'd write you a Funny post! But if you want to cry in your pizza you can take a look at my American Idol post. Some of their performances will surely bring you to tears! http://curageousideas.blogspot.com/2008/01/american-idol-flashback.html
ReplyDeleteHang in there Girlfriend. We're all with you in spirit.
amy--i'm so glad we've teamed up!! i really look forward to your email every day and i appreciate your comments here. i'm getting the stuff to make that dip, dangit! hehe!!! =)
ReplyDeleteINTREPID! hey dood :) hehe. you said it PERFECTLY...going off the stuff we love (and that's of course not good for us lol) DEFINITELY puts us in a FOUL mood. hahaha!! i hate those first few days; they are the worst. i pout and roam around the house all grumpy and nothing sounds good to eat. it sucks!
ReplyDeletei'm behind on reading blogs, but this afternoon i WILL have time!! i cant wait to read your AI post. amy is doing them, too. even tho i missed the first 1 or 2 episodes (oh, the SHAME!) i AM tivo'ing them so i'll be keeping up with the hilarity! hehe!!
thanks for stopping by, and i appreciate your encouragement very much!! :):)
Hi Josey,
ReplyDeleteJust checking n as I haven't been to many blogs lately myself. I can relate to your drifting around in a fog as I have been too. My job is off the wall busy, I have more responsibility there, and my dad's been very sick. All this while trying to raise kids, pay bills, and stay away from food. Anyway, this is your blog and not a place for me to rant. I hope you are doing well. Your cats are cool (my wifey doesn't want any) and I'll talk you ya soon. -Mike.
