love/strongly dislike meme ;)

hola, friends! =)

a few weeks back, my buddy rolando tagged me with this lil ole meme!

now, i have to say i’m one to cringe a little when i have to list things i “hate,” cause sometimes “hate” is a bit of a strong word.  however, we can just assume i mean “strongly dislike” hehehe…but for purposes of the meme, i’ll stick with the original wording! :P

AND i’m not gonna turn this into something all philosophical and stuff.  you’re gonna get what comes to my brain first!

i looovveeee (in no particular order. ;)  teehee.) :

  1. chocolate
  2. my husband <3
  3. God
  4. animals
  5. music

i hate…

  1. lack of compassion
  2. when people leave their shopping carts loose in the parking lot
  3. pollution
  4. sex and violence on tv, movies and games
  5. too much salt on my food

there ya have it! =)  nothing too earth shattering, but fun nevertheless!  now, i hereby tag:

have fun!!!

~jos~!

  5. Hooray!
    You said it well.
Don't have a husband; but i love my children, friends, animals all equally.
I strongly dislike: pollution, sex and violence on t.v., movies (another form of pollution), living in the city!

I agree with all EXCEPT .... drum roll ....#2! I am sure your husband is a nice fellow, but I do not love him. Shopping carts loose??? Here is a memory from 1985
We were out in my 1977 Monte Carlo, me and a friend. There was a loose shopping cart in the lot - in my way, of course. I pushed it with my bumper. hmmm, that was kind of fun! So, the speed of my contacts grew faster and faster. Finally, the grand poobahh of all shopping cart smashes, we climbed to a speed of 40 miles per hour and drove strait into the cart ... it flew up the air like a ballon full of helium. We laughed so hard it hurt. I still laugh when recalling this. Man the crazy things a young guy will do.
No, I didn't get in any trouble, so the only lesson I learned is to drive an older car with a big bumper.

  8. I found the first item on your love list interesting. :) I am glad you gave the disclaimer that they are in no particular order.
Why do you have no compassion (something you hate) for those who leave their shopping carts loose (another thing you hate)? You have to understand that those poor people are not responsible for what they do. They have a mental disorder known as idiocy. ;)
I also wondered at the "husband less than three" notation. Then, "light dawned on Marblehead"... it is a heart, right? lol

  9. hello gail!! always so happy to hear from you :) i suppose i never really thought of movies as pollution. i like to watch some here and there, but i'd say some of them definitely pollute our minds, that's for sure.

  12. marblehead, er i mean steve *teehee*...i am giggling at your breakdown of my lack of compassion for folks who leave the carts in the parking lot. i never said i didnt feel sorry for them that they have no manners...LOL...but i definitely hate what they do!!! ;)
HAHAHA...husband less than three...LOL...i guess the first time i saw that i was like WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? it actually kind of annoyed me. HAHA. i'm trying hard to stay up on all the internet lingo junk, but i feel so old school. ah well. altho that heart one's been around for several years! LOL.
one thing i cant (and wont ever) figure out is the IM text lingo. for one, i dont IM. i have enough carpal tunnel issues from using the keyboard ;) but check this link out...WHAT IN THE HECK? i feel so old! LOL.

  13. sorry about that. I am so behind on texting that I saw the < as a mathematical "less than" sign and the 3 as a real digit.
but thanks for the link to catch me up.
AND... thanks for the nice words you put after my review! :)
